Inland Fisheries Ireland and Blackrock Education Centre are running a competition to design a poster.
The competition is open to all 5th and 6th class primary students in Ireland.
It’s an opportunity for students to be creative and to learn how we can all play our part in taking care of our fish. Lots of fun and interactive educational resources are available right here on the “Something Fishy” website which will help any budding artist to come up with tons of ideas.
Two categories – 5th Class and 6th Class 1st prize – tablet to the value of €500 plus lots of other goody bags for creative entries
Create a poster, take a photo of it and submit it.
Catch – Photo – Release
We want your help to design some posters so we can encourage more anglers when they are fishing, to catch it, take a photo and then release it back again.

Only one entry per student and please submit your own original work Closing date for entries is Friday, 15th April 2022.
Parents/guardians/teachers please email your pupils entry to outreach@fisheriesireland.ie
Include pupil Name, Class (5th or 6th) and School Name and Address.
By submitting an entry you agree to grant IFI permission to reuse and republish the image in any format or media and/or manipulate the image to fit its purpose The winning poster will be chosen by a panel.
The decision of the panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winner will be announced on Friday, 10th June 2022.
