6th Class Category Winner 3rd Place: Aodhan Walsh, Sixth Class at St Colmcille’s NS, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford

Sandwiches, flask, fishing rod and baits, I’m off to fish along with my mates
Throwing out the rod hoping to catch a trout, or any other fish would make me happy out
Reeling them in is what I like, at the end of my line could be a pike
Early mornings to late at night, I’ll sit content waiting for a bite
All loaded with the catch of the day, one by one we’ll let them swim away
Mornings, evenings make no mistake, if there is a fish to be caught I’ll be at the lake
