Sixth Class learned about the dangers to a Parrs growth and the importance of good river management. We created Aboriginal fish!!

Today we learnt about the difference between salt water and fresh water and the dangers to the smolt on their journey. We carried out an experiment to investigate deposition.

Sixth Class learned about how salmon spawning occurs and the importance of habitat conservation. We carried out an experiment to help us learn about the importance of good quality gravel for salmon eggs in the spawning area of a river

Today Sixth class learned about fish, food chains and camouflage. We created different environments for different animals that would help them feel safe.
