We completed activity sheets on the lessons. We were shocked to learn such a small percentage of salmon actually make it back safely to the stream where they were born which we worked out on activity sheet 6.

During English lessons, we brainstormed ideas for improving the water quality of Irish Rivers. We wrote a persuasive letter asking for help and support with our idea of creating a system of grading rivers according to their cleanliness – similar to Blue Flag for beaches.
