We decided to chose different sea animals/insects and camouflage them using appropriate colours depending on there surrounding habitats
Keeping our rivers and coasts clean!
In lesson 8, we learned about the importance of keeping our rivers free from pollution. We also created “Think B4 U Flush” awareness posters following a visit from An Taisce to show how we can help reduce blockages and sewer
Ardigeen River
Our local river is the Ardigeen River and is renowned for fly fishing.
Water Pollution Experiment
The children had fun simulating pollution using paints, detergents, litter and other debris. We learned how easy it is to pollute water and how difficult it is to reverse it!
