We got results!

Today, we looked at the containers we had put into the freezer as part of our exploration on the expansion of water on freezing. In one container, the tinfoil lid was clearly pushed upwards by the frozen water while in the other container, the ice level was above the water level (marked on the previous day). We have now decided to leave the containers in a warm place to first of all turn the water back into liquid form and then to see if the water will eventually evaporate.
