Fish are an important source of protein, vitamins and minerals. There are three different types of fish that we eat, white fish(cod, haddock and plaice), oily fish (salmon, trout and herring) and shellfish (lobster, prawn and crab). Protein helps build and repair strong muscles and bones. Oily fish supplies vitamin A and that helps protect your skin, your eyes and your nose. Shellfish is a good source of minerals such as magnesium, calcium and lodine. People need to have a healthy, well-balanced diet .
