Perilous Journey Home

We have been learning about the life cycle of the salmon and were particularly fascinated by the fact that after spending a few years in the sea it attempts to return to the very stream where it was born. This return journey is full of threat and danger, however. We learned that very few of the salmon manage to survive the journey.
